Join us Saturday, September 9 from 9 am - 4 pm (EDT) for a regional site manager training. This training is designed for those who wish to explore how they may become involved in the MNA Disaster Response ministry. The morning session will include an overview of the ministry and ways to get involved. The afternoon session will focus on what it means to serve as a site manager and how to serve in that manner.
Morning Session - In this session, the MNA Disaster Response ministry will be introduced as we discuss call to mercy, philosophy of ministry, and practical ways to get involved. This session is appropriate for anyone who is interested in learning more about how they can get involved and/or how their church can mobilize through disaster response.
Afternoon Session - This session will provide further information and practice regarding how MNA operates long-term disaster sites and the periodic need for site managers to serve a week or more in a site. In many cases, the site manager needs a respite and having people trained and available to come in to give him/her a break is a tremendous blessing. You will learn both the theory and the practical and, if interested, be placed on a list of those interested in serving as site manager.
There is no charge for this training. Click on this link to register.
