A Successful General Assembly

Thanks to all who supported getting the MNA Disaster Response booth ready for the PCA General Assembly, held last month in Birmingham, Alabama.

In early June, a team from First Presbyterian Church in Aliceville, Alabama prepared the T-shirts that we gave away at General Assembly. They folded, labeled, and packaged more than 1,200 T-shirts.

At the Third Saturday Work Day before General Assembly, Vince and Louise Grilley, of First Presbyterian Church in Crossville, Tennessee helped Warehouse Manager Mike Kennamer load the trailer for General Assembly.

MNA DR Director Arklie Hooten and Warehouse Manager Mike Kennamer transported the trailer to Birmingham, and unloaded and set up the booth with the assistance of other MNA DR staff.

The assembly was a successful one, with MNA DR staff meeting or renewing friendships with several hundred people.
